Way too much fun! They guy how made it certainly knew his campy horror film references. Horror films tend to draw upon what subconsciously frightens us and the end result ends up being a bit of an allegory. Both the ants in "Them" as well as the zombies that plagued us up until the end of the '80s throughout various films were drawing upon our fears of communists (trust me, I had to read actual academic literature on this sort of stuff in film classes that I was in). In the case of zombies it was perfect; slow and steady advance, you can kill them though they number far too many, and anyone can end up turning into one and you won't know who. So campy commie zombies being destroyed by Gorbachov is both an appropriate use of film symbolism and damn fun.

Of course these days we have fast and agile zombies as well as the traditional slower and clumsier ones and this is due to new fears in our subconscious.

Anyway, the Gorbachov/Conan hybrid doing the brief pec dance to the guitar chords kind of made me laugh.
